The West End comes to Highcliffe!

Year 12 and 13 Performing Arts BTEC students took part recently in an inspirational musical theatre workshop run by Jayde Westaby, one of the West End’s foremost musical theatre actresses.

Jayde has performed roles in West Side Story, Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia! and Saturday Night Fever to name but a few!
Students developed a scene from Grease learning the music, choreography, lyrics and script from scratch with no prior preparation just as they would at an actual audition.  The results were fantastic with all students showing energy, commitment and enthusiasm!

Jayde also gave invaluable advice about the Performing Arts business, as many of our students are hoping to take that career path in the future.
