Lyndsay King’s Macmillan Head Shave

On Saturday 25th July 2015 two Year 11 Highcliffe Students will be shaving their heads in order to raise funds for Macmillan Caring Locally.

Lyndsay King, the main organiser of this fundraiser, will be shaving her whole head and her supportive friend, Keira, will shave part of hers.

“I feel for the family and friends who have had to deal with this awful disease, and think that this event is one way of contributing and helping.
I would also like the money to go to the local Macmillan Caring Unit as they are independent of the Macmillan Cancer Support the National Charity. Any donations would be very generous and helpful towards the target we are aiming to achieve of £600, more would be amazing!”

There are two donation boxes in the school, which are located in main reception and another in the staff room.
