Tennis Season!

A group of Year 8 & 9 students went to Christchurch Tennis Club for a Tennis Leaders Course. Here is an account of the day:

“On Wednesday 14th June I went to Christchurch Tennis Club with 14 other students. During the day we took part in lots of sessions to develop our leadership and communication skills; we did these to help us to become tennis leaders. These ranged from memory games to hand-eye co-ordination activities. We also learnt how to organise a tennis tournament, considering the key actions before, during and after a competition, as well as how to score a tennis match and organise a round robin tournament. Overall, I think the day was informative and fun, and it has made me want to play more tennis in the future.”
