Library Writing Competition

To celebrate the Christmas season, a Writing Competition was launched in the library.

Students from all year groups were invited to write a short story that had a Christmas theme. Students from various year groups took up the challenge and produced a wide range of tales for the judges to read and enjoy. Mrs. Keyworth, Mr. James, Miss Larose and Ms. Haley then had the difficult task of judging the stories. After much discussion and deliberation the top three stories were selected.

The winning students were:

1st place - Macy in 9.6
2nd place - Isabella 7.1
3rd place - Celia 8.4

The judges were impressed with all the entries and the quality of writing. We send our congratulations to the winners and hope everyone had a lovely break!
