On Monday 2nd July our Year 7 Scholars who took part in The Brilliant Club attended a graduation ceremony at Exeter University. Eleven students completed the programme, which involved them working with a PhD Tutor and writing a 1500 word essay to GCSE standard. Six students achieved 2:1s and five students achieved a 1st class award!
This is a fantastic set of results, and is testament to the hard work the students put in alongside all of their normal school work and extra-curricular activities. They should be very proud! Miss Eggleston and I would also like to thank the students for the fantastic way they conducted themselves both on the trip and throughout the whole process: feedback from the PhD Tutor, Matthew Ryan-East, was extremely positive and he was very impressed by all of our students!
