This year was an exceptional year welcoming back the full programme of Music into the main school concerts. The delivery of the new concert PA came just in time and the high quality sound gave our students the opportunity to gain a realistic experience of professional live performance. The PA was operated by our very own Music Production students who also gained some valuable work experience on industry standard equipment. A big thank you to Blue Spark Foundation and Universal Music UK Sound Foundation for their generosity towards providing this much needed resource – we are looking forwards to expanding our live performance programme next year and providing even more opportunities for our Highcliffe students.

The evening itself saw performances from all of the Music Enrichment groups including ensembles for Woodwind, Brass, Strings, Guitar, Percussion, Piano, Folk, the two Choirs and the debut of the Highcliffe School Orchestra alongside performances from solo and group items independently rehearsed and prepared by the students themselves with the support of our excellent 6th Form Subject Ambassadors who also hosted the evening.

We also had a surprise presentation from the students of £100 raised through performances in the community which they kindly donated towards music education in Highcliffe School. Thank you to Celia, Lawrence, Zadie, Emily and Stella for your generosity.
