The Rotary Young Musician Competition, organised by Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland, provides a platform for young instrumentalists and vocalists to showcase their talent, develop confidence, and receive impartial feedback from experienced adjudicators. The competition welcomes a variety of musical styles, including modern genres, and is open to school-aged amateur musicians.
Highcliffe School would like to thank the panel of judges for sharing their expertise and encouragement - Fiona Pritchard, Jenny Oulton and Nickie Dixon.
We would also like to thank David Parsons and the Highcliffe Rotary team for organising such a great opportunity for our students.
Thank you to all the music teachers who helped prepare
our entrants for this event and a thank you to the accompanists who supported
on the night – Cheri Wallace, Cynthia Mason and Doug Gould.
